Advent is fast-approaching and, along with it, our Friday, Dec. 8, social and musical outing to the Northeast Piedmont Chorale Concert at Wake Forest Baptist Church. I hope many of you will be able to attend and enjoy the holiday spirit-filled program with a regional chorale that includes several St. John’s members.
The informal plan is to gather first at my house first for a social hour prior to the 7:30 concert, I will have on hand fillers for slider-sized sandwiches, chips, and cookies, along with beverages such as coffee, tea, hot apple cider and wine. If you want to bring something else, that’s fine, but you don’t have to!
Although the concert starts at 7:30 p.m., arriving early is a good idea. WFBC is less than one mile from my home, so we can choose to walk, drive, or do both, leaving here no later than 7 p.m. While the social itself is limited to the women of St. John’s, you are welcome to meet your spouses, partners, or families at the church. We probably can’t all sit together anyway.
So, recapping the essential details:

I’m not sure if Realm allows you to respond to me, so here is my contact info: hwholt09@gmail.com or 919-522-7917 cell.
Hope to see you then!
