We’ll have just one worship service on Christmas Eve. It begins online with a short, child-friendly Christmas Pageant, rich with art and music; then the liturgy becomes quieter and more reflective. It will be available on YouTube at 3:30 PM (not live on Zoom), and also may be viewed later. Join the “watch party” on YouTube at 3:30 PM and wish one another a Merry Christmas via the “chat!”
The Eucharist will be celebrated with a prayer of “spiritual Communion” for those who choose to stay home; and, the church sanctuary will be open from 4:30 pm to 6 pm for those who wish to come, receive Holy Communion at the altar rail, and sit for a moment to pray.* Due to the forecast of rain and wind, the Host will also be administered outside in a “Drive Thru” fashion in the upper parking lot by Mo. Sarah+ and Mawethu. Our retired Priest Associates, The Rev. Drs. Lorraine Ljunngren and Jim Melnyk will administer the Host in the sanctuary. If you plan to enter the Sanctuary, please park on the far side of the upper lot and enter through the main doors to the Church.
*Ushers will welcome 10 individuals at a time in the sanctuary, alone or in household groups. Windows and doors will remain open for ventilation, and ushers will conduct health screenings at the door. Masks and physical distancing, required.
